Meanwhile 5 years have passed by, years marked by ups and downs. We were rejoicing together, when people received Jesus, sick people got healed and alcoholics were delivered from alcohol addiction. We were discouraged when people turned away and seemed to have forgotten, what God had done in their lives. Sometime our house seemed to burst with people, sometimes we were a tired little flock. It wasn’t always super, but God has always been faithful.
Living in community
As soon as we found a house, I moved in with a few Mongolian girls. Living together in a small community proved to be a great blessing. We love to be together and I watched the girls quickly maturing in faith and personality. Not before long they were leading home groups and the children’s and teenagers’ ministries and set clear goals for their lives.
Prayer
Prayer is the backbone of our lives and ministry.Three times a week we meet for prayer in the mornings.
Furthermore we carefully set aside times to developour personal prayer lives. Looking back we are
amazed how many of our prayers got answered -
some at once, some after we pressed in for a long
time. For two years we asked God for a steady
family to support us in ministry.
Then Oogi and his wife Urna joint us.They are a wonderful couple.
Oogi is now leading the church and apart from that he is helping
in many other areas of the ministry.
