Six months after the massive tsunami in Japan, still thousands of people are suffering from the aftermath of the disaster in the region around the seaport Sendai. Even though for many families the house itself remained standing, the entire household has been destroyed or washed away.
Now we have a real opportunity to bring relief into this situation. From 9 - 28 September a team from Lüdenscheid will travel to the distressed area of Sendai. In cooperation with local christians, they will visit the strucked families and equip them with basic essentials. (The basic equipment for one home comes around at approximately € 2500.)We would be very grateful for financial support of the Japan relief effort!
